Event Format:
The event will be conducted in-person over the weekend 25-26 Jun 2022 (Saturday: 8:00 am to Sunday: 4:00 pm)
It will comprise of the:

Opening Ceremony – 10:00 am – Day 1
Award Ceremony – 3 pm – Day 2

A. Pre-Event
*Each team consists of 3-5 members
*Grade 10 to undergraduate level students are allowed to participate.
*There’s a registration fee for the event.
*To submit your project for the hackathon, teams must provide the following:
*A short description describing the project
*A pitch deck of no more than 10 slides describing the problem, the target audience and the solution. You may also include any research or statistics you found that describe the problem you are trying to solve.
*A recorded video presentation of your slideshow and demo of your project if applicable.
*All projects will be submitted directly to DevPost.
*A link to your GitHub repository where your code is stored if applicable
Deadlines:
Registration begins: 15 April 2022
Registration ends: 12 June 2022
B. Pre-Event
*The format is simple: participants take out their laptops, connect to power and WiFi, and get working.
*Hacking begins with project introductions.
*Participants that bring projects to the event have an opportunity to briefly explain what they are working on at the very start of the event so that other participants can join that project.
*At the end of the event, a wrap-up session gives each project a chance to demonstrate some accomplishments.

Scoring Guidelines:
- The teams will be judged on four different criteria – fit, innovation, functionality, and design of the product.
- Maximum of 25 points possible under each criterion.
- Total Score = Fit + Innovation + Functionality + Design
- Judge’s Favorite: The judge may award an additional five points for their favorite demonstration of community impact.
- Penalties: Score of ZERO if not submitted on time or if initial deliverable unchanged over event period.
- Negative score is also possible if none of the milestones are met or if the Code of Conduct is violated.
